How Much Does Membership Cost?
Individual membership is $4000/year. Couples are $7000/year. Additional household members can be added for $2000/year.
WHAT IS DR. TAUBE'S BACKGROUND?
Dr. Taube grew up in Michigan, but has lived in Lighthouse Point with his family for many years. He graduated from Vanderbilt University cum laude in Neuroscience. He earned his medical degree with honors at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. His Emergency Medicine Residency was completed at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth TX, a busy level 1 trauma center.
WHERE CAN I GET TREATMENT?
We serve the Lighthouse Point Community and surrounding areas. We typically provide treatment in home, but should you need it elsewhere (at the office, marina, etc.) we will strive to make accommodations!
DO YOU ACCEPT MEDICARE?
Yes! Services provided by Dr Lighthouse are billed through Medicare. However, the membership fee cannot.
WHAT IF I REQUIRE HOSPITALIZATION?
With preventative care and advanced in house treatment, Dr Lighthouse strives to keep you out of the hospital. However, at times hospitalization will be necessary. During your hospitalization we will advocate on your behalf and help obtain preferred specialists. Our physician has privileges at 2 excellent hospitals in the area. Upon discharge you will have exceptional follow up.
ARE LAB SERVICES COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Typically yes. Dr Lighthouse collaborates with multiple lab services to ensure your tests are covered by insurance. In home phlebotomy (blood draw) is also typically covered by insurance!
Can I Get a Same-Day Appointment?
We make every effort to have same day availability, especially for acute care visits.
WHAT IF I NEED HELP AFTER HOURS?
You have 24/7 access to your doctor. If it is after traditional hours there are many options. Phone call consultation and telemedicine are included. After hours house calls are available for an additional fee.
DO YOU ACCEPT MY PRIVATE INSURANCE?
Yes! Visits are billed to your insurance as an out of network provider.

DOES DR. LIGHTHOUSE TREAT LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES?
While we are equipped to treat many ailments, and our physician is expert in ER medicine, members should call 9-1-1 for life threatening emergencies. Should you need to go to the emergency room, we can help navigate this process.
CAN CHILDREN BE ADDED TO THE MEMBERSHIP?
At this time we only treat adults 18 and older.
WHAT IF I NEED AN MRI, XRAY, OR OTHER DIAGNOSTIC IMAGE?
We have multiple locations where we can arrange for imaging! Additionally images such as x-ray and ultrasound can be arranged in your home in most cases! These services are billed through your insurance company.
